Microsoft Releases SkyDrive Application For iOS and Windows Phone

From the morning Apples App Store is being blessed by Microsoft’s applications and now the the Microsoft’s cloud storage appplication named SkyDrive is released for iOS and its own Windows Phone both. Now a days there are many cloud storages around us one of them si well known ans is Drop Box and Apple’s iCloud. Microsoft’s SkyDrive is an older feature than both iCloud and Drop Box.

Both of them almost have a same interface while the SkyDrive for iOS is available right now but the Windows Marketplace for Windows Phone will get it soon on. The iOS SkyDrive app describes

SkyDrive is your personal cloud for your documents, notes, photos and videos. Move your files into SkyDrive and immediately they’re available from any web browser anywhere in the world.


SkyDrive from Microsoft is the place to store your files so you can access them from virtually any device. With SkyDrive for the iPhone, you can now easily access, manage and share files on the go. You can also upload photos or videos from your iPhone to SkyDrive.

 SkyDrive has been providing 25 GB of storage for free while Apple’s iCloud has just provided 5 GB of storage for free. If you are jailbroken on your iDevice the SkyDrive will be more fun for you as you can on the go download your files on your iDevice, you can send your files straight away from the SkyDrive by the help of tweaks in the Cydia and many more.
