Apple is planning to roll out iOS 5.1 major update to iOS 5.0.1 on March 9th, or the update release will be around this date somewhere. On the other side, Apple is also rumored to launch the iPad 3 in earlier March, so from this date reference, we can also take the March 9th as the iPad 3 launch.
The new operator files are rolled out to operators in Japan, France, Greece, Finland and Sweden. The new profiles is rolled out to iPhone-operators to ensure the network connectivity, and according to iOS 5 feature this update will also serve to users over the air.
