Just, a few hours ago, Apple has published a new page on their App Store online directory promoting that App Store has been going to reach the 25 billionth app download.
A new promo page goes live on the Apple’s website showing the countdown page of 25 billionth app download from the App Store. With the announcement of such a big milestone for the App Store, Apple has also been offering a contest for the iOS device owners. The user who downloads the 25 billionth will win a price of $10,000 App Store Gift Card from the Apple, as well as an ultimate highlight from the media publications around the word.
According to the Apple’s earning call, the App Store is making more than $4 billion a year, and Apple have just reached this height within 4 years, as the App Store was firstly launched on July 10, 2008.
