Once again, the old days are arrived, when we are used to take comment from different carrier VP’s and Chief Officers about the upcoming iPhone launch in the market. However, today it is noted that Verizon’s Chief Financial Officer Fran Shammo made a comment on the availability and the launch of iPhone 5 in the market, more specifically on their network exclusively for the users. In a comment regarding the iPhone 5 launch, he hints at the iPhone 5 will launch in the fourth quarter of 2012. – Anything special? Well, no!
We already have numbers of rumors are surrounding there claiming that upcoming iPhone 5 will release in the time frame of September to October. According to very recent rumors, the iPhone 5 has yet to enter into the production phase. Many rumors have already hinted at the specifications of the upcoming iPhone 5. But the Verizon’s Chief Financial Officer hinted at the launch in fourth quarter of 2012, which is not going to start from the October 1 that means the device will arrive in the first week of October like the iPhone 4S, and if it becomes real, then we will see the launch of the iPhone 5 in the market by third week of October.
We believe that Shammo passed this comment on the base of circulating rumors around the community about the upcoming iPhone, but every analyst in the market now looking ahead to his sources to get more solid footprints of Apple in the market with the launch of iPhone 5 in the October. In the past, Shammo appeared to be strong on his comments with the couple of comments on the launch of iPhone 4S that it will be the world phone with dual baseband chips that can work on both GSM and CDMA bands. He also commented on the scene when everyone was expecting the white iPhone 4 phone, which come exclusively to Verizon with CDMA.
