The iFixit guys got their hand on Verizon’s iPhone 4 and reveal some interesting things about the CDMA iPhone by comparing it to the original iPhone 4. They discover a Qualcomm MDM6600 baseband chipset in the Verizon iPhone 4, which brings support for both CDMA and GSM and similar to the Droid Pro World Phone’s.
So, Apple released a dual standard phone working for both CDMA and GSM’s carriers. Will the iPhone 5 get a similar treatment?
