Microsoft Wants You To Jailbreak Your Device With ChevronWP7

Remember the Windows Phone 7 Jailbreak and his team “ChevronWP7”? Well if not, ChevronWP7 is the team who firstly developed the jailbreak and unlock tool for the Microsoft’s Windows Phone and gain lot of heat among the users even, Microsoft has contact them to work with them and improve the Windows Phone 7. So now according to their new official statement which was announced today, on which they are claiming that they become the first jailbreak firm and homebrew services for the Microsoft’s Windows Phone platform and the amazing part of the announcement is with the approval of Microsoft.

They announced that they will soon online the page on which they will request small fee from those users who want to jailbreak their Windows Phone device and want make more out of it, the fee payment method is users have to pay the fee of the services via PayPal.

 

The interesting part of the announcement is, they got again the approval of jailbreaking Windows Phone platform from Microsoft, which thinks they can beat other companies such like Apple and Sony by offering this type of services.

Kinect For Windows SDK Beta Released Download Available Now!

So yes the new Kinect SDK’s beta version is out and available to Download. SDK refers to Windows Software Development Kit that gives you full power over all of the Kinect Sensor hardware components. Now the sleeky new function available is that you will be able to create applications in Windows that can be controlled by motion and speech, and yes this is for what the function that you can use the microphone to register where sound is coming from, came at front and this will also lead you to the point that you can now track TWO people at once.

In a world of hackers we live and thus the whole scenario of Kinect got changed when the hackers made it to work on PC, while it was designed for Xbox 360 only. And so due to this Microsoft finally themselves gave it in and announced that the Kinect will be headed to the PC platform as well.

Microsoft’s USA Smart Phone Share Lies

All the way working hard, this news is really hard to bear but it’s true Microsoft’s Share have dropped due to Windows Phone 7. Microsoft has dropped 25% of share from when the the Windows Phone 7 has been selled out in USA and they just had 9% of the market share originally in November 2010 and now it’s 6.7%. This was kicked out by comScore.

But this could also be due to delayed NoDo updates, isn’t ?? But they forgot that Microsoft’s Market Place have more than 20.000 Applications in just one year.

Acer Shows The World’s First Running Windows Phone 7 Mango Device

HTC Mazaa Windows Phone Features 12 Mega Pixel Camera

HTC Maaza the mystery phone of HTC running Windows Phone 7 has also reported to feature 12 Megapixel camera. The editor of mobile-review.com, Eldar Murtazin has posted a video of length 13 minutes and several images of HTC Mazaa on this Monday.  The pictures he published revealed that HTC Mazaa will include 12 MP camera and capable of supporting the RAW format. Microsoft has showed up this device in the advertisement demos of Windows Phone 7 (Mango) for Internet Explorer 9.

It is also reported that HTC Mazaa will also include updated CPU and GPU configurations to handle the HTML 5 content on Internet Explorer 9 better than other Windows Phone 7 devices. It is also expected that it will release on the Sprint network later this year.

Windows Phone’s Marketplace Hits More Than 20,000+ Applications

According to reports from 24th May 2011, the day Mango was revealed officially till now Microsoft has approved up to 2000 applications for Marketplace. Windows Phone’s Marketplace took 219 days to reach 20,000 apps since the release of WP 7 while Apple’s iPhone App Store took 215 days and Google’s Android store took 419 days. Win Rumors claim

Marketplace trackers windowsphoneapplist.com is currently tracking 19,789 apps in the U.S. Marketplace alone. WP7applist is tracking 20,185 applications worldwide and explains 1,166 of them are inactive, 48% are available for free and the average price is $1.45 per paid application. Microsoft’s s Windows Phone Marketplace is growing at an impressive rate. The software giant added 3,000 applications in April alone after reaching its 12,000 milestone in late March. The Marketplace passed 15,000 apps in April just in time for its six month birthday. WP7applist says that 175 apps are updated on average each day. In the last 24 hours, 99 apps were updated and 288 were added.

During the delayed time of NoDo updates the developer’s have been really working hard to develop apps to meet App Store plus giving the UI for Mango.
