Microsoft Unleashes Their First iOS Game “Kinectimals” (Download Links)

Microsoft is on a role these days. The day before Microsoft released OneNote iPad version and few weeks back they released their Xbox Live App for iOS. The Xbox Live App for iOS simply allows you to stay connected with your friends over the internet and when you are away from the console. You can also see the updates from your pals using the App. Microsoft has introduced a new feature in their Xbox Live App for Windows Phone 7 which allowed you to control your Xbox right from the Phone. This feature is missing from the iOS Device. This seems that they have specifically designed this feature for Windows Phone 7 only.

After all the major released in past, Today Microsoft made another great release for iOS. This time they haven introduced their first ever iOS game called “Kinectimals”. Microsoft has given a great opportunity to the Xbox users to play the iOS game to unlock  up to five new cubs for the Kinect version. 

The game, Kinectimals, allows users to explore the island of Lemuria while caring for the club they have made. The App is same as the Xbox version. This is the first ever iOS Game made by Microsoft which allows users to unlock new features for the original game. To enoy the Xbox 360 game visuals on your iOS Device for this game, you will need to purchase this game from App Store. The introductory cost of this App is $2.99 and it is a universal App.

Kinect App Allows You To Try On Clothes Without “Actually” Wearing Them

Back at E3 2009, Microsoft showed us that Kinect could be used to show you that how you look in a particular cloth.Now, this is reality, The new Kinect app allows users to enable Virtual Dressing Room, this 3D technology will now show you how you look in clothes without trying them on.

You can mold your limbs and see if there’s something wrong with the length, you can turn around to see your back and all that which wasn’t possible until yet.

Arbuzz, the group that dreamed this app, says that the project is still being modified.

The app is written in C# along with Microsoft’s XNA tools.

Kinect Becoming A Pro Hack – Control’s AR Drone Similar Object

If you guy’s remember a few months back a hardware controlled game was develoed an the name of the hardware was AR Drone. 

Kinect is slowly and slowly becoming a professional use rather than a gaming object. Today this project designed/performed by Flying Machine Arena is really hard because it was performed in a full white clothed covered area in which AR Drone type object was controlled by the player’s hand via the help of Kinect. The object is named as a Quadrotor in the video.

So with out giving pressure on the mind let’s roll in to the experience

Kinect For Windows SDK Beta Released Download Available Now!

So yes the new Kinect SDK’s beta version is out and available to Download. SDK refers to Windows Software Development Kit that gives you full power over all of the Kinect Sensor hardware components. Now the sleeky new function available is that you will be able to create applications in Windows that can be controlled by motion and speech, and yes this is for what the function that you can use the microphone to register where sound is coming from, came at front and this will also lead you to the point that you can now track TWO people at once.

In a world of hackers we live and thus the whole scenario of Kinect got changed when the hackers made it to work on PC, while it was designed for Xbox 360 only. And so due to this Microsoft finally themselves gave it in and announced that the Kinect will be headed to the PC platform as well.

Microsoft Kinect SDK Beta includes:

  • Robust Skeletal Tracking for high-performance capabilities that track the skeleton image of one or two persons moving within the Kinect field of view
  • Advanced Audio Capabilities, including four-element microphone array with sophisticated acoustic noise and echo cancellation for great audio; beam formation to identify the current sound source and integration with the Windows speech recognition API also included
  • XYZ depth camera for standard color camera stream access and depth data that indicates the distance of the object from the Kinect camera
