We personally know how the analyst reports bugs the industry most of the time with their predictions and expectations regarding several growing companies. Just in case of Apple, every other analyst climbs into the headline with its skeptical claims regarding the upcoming product or the overall company progress in the on-going year. A new report just came from an analyst, Peter Misek with Jefferies who claimed that Apple’s most rumored HDTV product will not be called “iTV”, instead the company will brand it as “iPanel”, and moreover, the product will shortly enter in the massive production level somewhere in May of 2012 to follow up the launch of a device in the Q4 of 2012.

iPanel HDTV

Apple has been rumored from several months to be engaged in the testing, and production of the HDTV television box with advanced protocols and features to revolutionize the world with its another product in the market. Apple’s so-called “iPanel” is rumored to be featuring a processor with an ability to be act like a gaming console, web browser, intelligent sync capabilities, and the most astonishing addition of Siri virtual assistant in the television.

However, the name “iTV” is connected with Apple from several last years, and we have also heard from close sources that Apple is working on the device to make it more powerful and feature-full than user’s expectations. No doubt on Apple’s work on its iOS devices, it is believed that Apple might introduce its new Apple HDTV product called “iPanel” in a market soon with having a price tag of around $1500.

The analyst believes that Foxconn and Sharp will play a key role in the production of this new Apple HDTV product, as Apple coupled of on-going lawsuits with Samsung, and undoubtedly will never want to reveal its secret technology to Samsung, because Samsung already had something similar to it but it appears the Samsung device is not quite good to make it ways to top-charts.

The Official Steve Jobs biography had already raised a number of rumors regarding the Apple’s upcoming devices, as the biography writer Walter Isaacson wrote on Jobs biography that he told him about the new upcoming revolutionary product from Apple in the field of Television. We come to know from the Steve Jobs Biography that they have “finally cracked” the script on how to develop a revolutionary television product for its devices lovers.

It is now reported that Walter Isaacson has recently claimed that Jobs had shared some deeper details with him on the upcoming revolutionary Television product, and sharing that information with public in media is directly unfair to those who have been working on the product from a long time. The Steve Jobs Biography writer has declined to comment about the upcoming device in media, while had been asked by media anchor during its interview for writing Steve Jobs biography.

Apple iTV HDTV With Siri

We are not aware from the deeper information that Jobs had shared with him, but came to know one that Isaacson is well known from the Apple’s secrecy about its upcoming devices. The revelation of knowing such deeper information about the product is shared during an interview with Brazilian television yesterday.

Apple has been rumored by many internal sources to be working on an Apple HDTV with the integration of newly introduced Siri, and the iCloud functionality, moreover it is rumored that Apple has been researching on a new technology that revolutionize its product for the market launch. Apple has been trying from years to enter in the television market, and it appears that in the upcoming two years they will surely release a product to beat all the television streaming companies. Samsung Underestimates Apple On iTV (HDTV) Business

by Hamza Tariq - on Feb 15th 2012 - No Comments

Since the Cupertino giant revealed a part of its upcoming plan to enter in the real TV market by introducing a new product that aims to reinvent the Television market with their astonishing features in the market. We have seen many of its rival underestimates it on the decision and says that they can’t beat anyone the market as the other manufacturers have good grip in the market. Apple has directly approached the Samsung by planning to enter in the market; Samsung is known for its good picture quality screens.

Many industry experts claimed that rival companies had just started their work to reinvent their products to semi-beat the Apple’s upcoming television series product. It’s not the first time that Apple is rumored in media on entering in the real TV world, but this time everything is appearing in right direction. In a new report, it appears that someone at Samsung is really unaware of Apple’s products image in the real market, and commented on the arrival of Apple’s upcoming television product as underestimating the Apple.

A Samsung manage indicates in a comment that his company is confident that Apple cannot beat them with their new product, as Samsung is old ruler of picture quality in the market. According to the manager, the users only interested in the picture quality not at least in the other features of the device, and by joining the market Apple only going to waste a big money as they have no renowned experiences in the display market and they are using Samsung and LG display panels to power their devices.

“We’ve not seen what they’ve done but what we can say is that they don’t have 10,000 people in R&D in the vision category,” [Samsung product manager Chris Moseley] said.

“They don’t have the best scaling engine in the world and they don’t have world renowned picture quality that has been awarded more than anyone else.

“TVs are ultimately about picture quality. Ultimately. How smart they are…great, but let’s face it that’s a secondary consideration. The ultimate is about picture quality and there is no way that anyone, new or old, can come along this year or next year and beat us on picture quality.

“So, from that perspective, it’s not a great concern but it remains to be seen what they’re going to come out with, if anything.”

Well, we are not going to give much weight to a Samsung product manager, as he is the only product manager not a senior executive and he will be less known to the market upcoming plans and worries of the company regarding the Apple HDTV. Apple is working on the new Apple HDTV in secret, and has not revealed any clue into on this.

The iPad 3 won’t be coming alone in March; the new Apple TV will also be debuting in March with iPad 3. Apple is expected to name the new Apple HDTV as iTV, but Apple could have serious licensing issues over that name with a Britain’s largest commercial broadcasters, ITV. This 50+ year-old company has told Apple that not to go with that name because they are already running with that name from past 50+ years. According to Telegraph, ITV has written Apple a letter regarding not to use this name for their upcoming Apple TV.

ITV has written to Apple to warn the Silicon Valley technology giant off using its three-letter name for its long-awaited, “iTV” smart television.

The report claimed that the chief executive of ITV Adam Crozier, had talked with Apple in 2010 regarding this name that they won’t use the name at least in U.K for their product.

When Apple decided to launch their TV, they temporarily named it as iTV. When it was launched the name was changed to Apple TV. Now we have to see that what name the company will come up with.

Samsung Says Apple HDTV Is Nothing, Smart TVs Are The Future

by Hamza Tariq - on Jan 13th 2012 - No Comments

We are all already familiar with the Apple, and Samsung fight over dozens of patent infringement cases around the world, both giants are already making lot of waves in the market with their devices for the users, and most recently we have heard that Samsung comes with the couple of statements regarding the Steve Jobs biography statement about the Apple’s mythical iTV which is said to be next HDTV of the market, as the Jobs mentioned in his biography that he finally “cracked the code” to build a product with an integrated television set with numerous mind boggling features for the users.

From the Jobs biography, and industry claims, we have learned that Apple iTV is said to be a television set with an ability to sync over the internet with other connected iOS devices, and to allow streaming of available content in the iTunes Store, furthermore to features the ability of having Siri on it. However, today Samsung Australia’s Director of Audiovisual Philip Netwon comes in front of the Sydney Morning Herald, and reveals what Jobs want to share with the world with words “cracked the code”. He told media that Jobs was talking about the iTV connectivity with other devices.

He laughed about the Apple iTV and dismissed the Jobs biography wave as “nothing new”, and points the media to its own company futures Smart TVs:

When Steve Jobs talked about he’s ‘cracked it’, he’s talking about connectivity – so we’ve had that in the market already for 12 months, it’s nothing new, it was new for them because they didn’t play in the space. It’s old news as far as the traditional players are concerned and we have broadened that with things like voice control and touch control; the remote control for these TVs has a touch pad.

In the last couple of weeks, Samsung is been pretty busy in promoting its Smart TVs generation at the CES floor with live showing off the Smart TVs work at the CES 2012 show to the users. Samsung has shown off its Smart TV with playing Angry Birds on it, and as well as demoed its capabilities like voice interaction, facial recognition, and other integrated features & multitasking.
Samsung has widely promoted its Smart TVs range as beating the Google TVs at the CES floor, and as well as other market manufacturers. We have as well seen Sony, Panasonic and LG promoting its Smart Tvs on the floor, but Samsung has openly pointed the company’s newer range of Smart TV as the future.
