How To Fix Your iDevice’s Home Button To Make it More Reactive

by Daudi - on Dec 25th 2011 - No Comments

These days Apple’s iDevices are the most and the best selling Devices around the world. In past, Apples iPhone 4 has became the top most selling iDevice in the U.S.A. A part from U.S.A, every one in the world loves and used Apple’s iPhone,iPod and iPad. The only thing make the iDevices most unique is the single home button, through which we perform many daily tasks. With one home button, We quite a game, we exit the call App, we exit messaging, and even we double press the home button to quit the things which are running in the background.

If we say that we press the home button about (estimate) 50 times (guess) per day, so we press the home button 1500 times (example) in a month. It means that if we use the iPhone for a year, So we press the home button around 18,000 times in a year. We might use the home button more than the given value or less than the value. Now, you can imagine the time you press the home button per month and in a year. This makes your iPhone home button go mad and you too. The home button of iPhone loses its life and makes you buy another one. The decision for another one is not cool. So you go to some local shop to get the iPhone’s home button repaired.

The repair might cost you not much but still the cost is cost.

Those of you are aware of the jailbreak Tweak called Activator through which you might be able to use the home button less. The tweak allows many actions through which you can put your iPhone to sleep and close the App without using home button.

Still we use the home button for DFU and Recovery Mode. Till now no method has been discovered for auto DFU mode. Recovery mode can be entered by Tiny Umbrella or some other tools.

When you home button becomes irresponsive and a bit sluggish, you go over the internet and find that this a software problem. You restore your Phone and find that the software was not an issue but the home button is. Believe me you start to swear on the person who wrote that method and you become very angry. The issue is not of that person because sometimes it is the problem of Software which makes the home button goes drowning.

People over IDB has found a way through which you can fix all this home button glitch and make your iPhone’s home button more responsive. The method is as easy as ABC. You need to be in front of your PC/MAC to do this method or you don’t need any tool or software to do this method. You only need your hands.

If your hands are free and ready to go, so follow the steps below and make your home button more responsive.

Steps to Follow:

Step 1:

Open a stock app, like Weather or Stocks.

Step 2:

Press and hold your power button until “slide to power off” appears and release.

Step 3:

Press and hold your Home button until the “slide to power off” goes away, and the app force quits. Your iPhone’s Home button should now be more responsive, because it has been recalibrated.

What we said. The method was really easy. Isn’t it?

We also got a video for you made by Jeff of IDB.
