Walter Isaacson: Steve Jobs Really Hate Android, But Cook Will Settle Lawsuits

by Hamza Tariq - on Apr 6th 2012 - No Comments

Just a day ago, it was reported that the Steve Jobs anger against Android was just “for show”, as the Google’s CEO Larry Page commented during an interview this week. No doubt, this news totally gives a shock to the large number of users who hates the Android Phones just because they have premium iPhone in their hands. But it appears the original report was just “for show”, not the original words from Steve Jobs.

Right after the Larry Page comments on the mater, the Walter Isaacson, the Steve Jobs official biography writer claims that his anger against Android was real, and there was nothing just “for show”. Isaacson, also compared the Jobs feeling about the Android over iOS with the Microsoft Windows over Macintosh. He quoted that Steve Jobs thinks Android similarity on iOS is just like a “history repeating itself.”

Isaacson continued: “It’s almost copied verbatim by Android. And then they licence it around promiscuously. And then Android starts surpassing Apple in market share, and this totally infuriated him. It wasn’t a matter of money. He said: ‘You can’t pay me off, I’m here to destroy you’.”

Walter Isaacson goes on to describe the true feelings of Steve Jobs in the media to clear out all the misunderstanding over the Jobs anger on Android. Isaacson also noted that Steve Jobs had different views than Tim Cook on handling these sort of things, and “will settle that lawsuit.” Yeah! You are readying correctly, in the past, we have also heard that Apple might be looking forward to settling down its years-old lawsuit against Android with Google.  Apple currently had around hundreds of different lawsuits against Android handset makers around the world, and in many cases, Apple won the injunctions against the Android phones and their phone makers.

Apple Drops Google As Default Search and Adopts Baidu For iPhone / iPad

by Hamza Tariq - on Mar 26th 2012 - No Comments

It is not the first time that we are hearing something like this in our daily life. In the past, Apple had taken many steps forward to kick Google and Samsung out of its iOS devices range, and tries at the best level not to adopt the kicked thing back on their iOS devices. We have already heard in several discussions that Apple is looking forward to kick Google out of its iPhone and Mac OS X as a default search provider, and now it is reported that Apple is finally in power to kick out the Google from its iPhone and Mac OS X.

Earlier this year, on the launch of Mac OS X Mountain Lion 10.8, Apple had introduced some local services for the Chinese users with the new-generation Mac operating system, and apparently Apple also kicked the Google from its Mac OS and powers the Chinese Mountain Lion 10.8 with their local search engine Baidu. Now after the quick response from the Chinese folks, it appears that Apple is now working to pull the Google Search from its iPhone and iPad devices. It is reported by the Chinese local blog, Sina Tech that Apple is working to embed Baidu as a default search provider for the Chinese iOS device users, and the update will be soon rolled out to the Chinese users silently.

However, the Baidu integration in iOS makes sense, as Baidu has lot more search queries than Google in China, and Google already facing couple of problems with the Chinese government over the uncensored search results, so it’s definitely a good step from Apple to bring the Baidu local search-engine for the specific region of people.  On the other hand, also keep in mind that Apple is not only providing the Google search inside the mobile Safari on an iPhone / iPad, but as well as Bing and Yahoo, as the official alternatives to the Google Search engine.

by Hamza Tariq - on Feb 9th 2012 - No Comments

It appears that analyst was right on predicting the up fall in the Apple’s stock market shares value, as the company is reaching heights this morning in the stock market with the $460 billion market capitalization. Apple is one the way to make a new high record on his portfolio this month with the love from its investors. In short, if you have recently joined the Apple by purchasing APPL from the market, you are damn in profit as the shares’ blows from scrap $400 to $495 in a week or two.  APPL is currently in the market is trading at about $495, while beating the expectations of NASDAQ, which is absolute a new record for the company.

Let’s take a simple preview on the portfolio of the company by reaching the new market capitalization with billions of money in their hand. Apple is currently on $460 billion market capitalization, which means that Apple is more than the %10 of all NASDAQ combined. Well that may be more impressing for you, if you wait there with us to know that Apple is worth totally 52 times more than RIM total value, and amazingly 5 times more than Amazon’s and all of its components in the market.

Apple is currently in the market is twice the value of Google and almost double in the size of Microsoft, hell yeah! The Cupertino Company is making big rounds of the investors, and going to make another big payroll in the company history.  Apple is now worth more than Google and Microsoft combines.

I said it before and I’ll say it again, although the stock is expensive, it’s still a very good time to buy Apple.

by Hamza Tariq - on Feb 8th 2012 - No Comments

If you are one of those users who have been currently living with an Android device running currently the Ice Cream Sandwich, and a Chrome lover on your machine then you definitely going to love this news update as we are going to report you that Google has finally released a beta version of Chrome for the Android users running the latest version of Android 4.0 on their devices. Chrome for Android is just available to download for the device currently running Android 4.0 on the system, as the new browser is quiet faster, syncs everything and provides you a complete environment to maximize your work on the web. Chrome for Android carries an astonishing transition effect and a beautiful tab system to flip from one window to another.

Google Chrome Browser, already skyrocketed its fame and identity in the world by beating many worlds popular browsers including the Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox within a short time span. Chorme for Android was absent from Android from a long time, as the Android always comes up with its own flavored browser carrying all the same mechanism but in limits and quiet different from the full powerful Chrome.  Chrome for Android is landed in the market with all features and V8 Javascript engine from Google.

Sadly, at the moment Google has only released the browser for the folks who running up the latest Android 4.0, which means that Chrome is currently only for the 1% of the Android users. Majority of Android users not going to enjoy the latest Chrome on their phones, as the Android 4.0 is still on the way to rolled out to all other Android devices. Google specifies the problem which led them to take this decision; Google blames that Chrome browser requires some hardware acceleration to produce and translate the pages on your device quickly.

Well the new Chrome browser for Android is far better than the stock Android browser, and it now carries many different UI elements to enrich the user experience; the most interesting graphical feature of the browser is the transition effect in tab switching. Chrome for Android 4.0 is currently available in the Android Market To Download.
