Apple Updated Final Cut Pro X, Motion, Compressor With Important Features

Apple has released a new update to its Final Cut Pro X suite today, as promised, to add the significant features in the new Final Cut Pro X version. Apple has included few major features in this update such as multi-cam editing, and the long awaited XML compatibility.  The today’s major updates to its Final Cut Pro X; the suite is now on the version v10.0.3. with some long-awaited features, Apple has also launched a quiet tool for the media geeks, in the market who wishes to finally move their project from Final Cut Pro 7 to the last years released Final Cut Pro X.


Apple has released a standalone application for the Mac OS in the Mac App Store with the name of 7toX that allow users to convert their Final Cut Pro 7 projects to Final Cut Pro X. The new application is available in the store for $9.99. The new Final Cut Pro X v10.0.3 is on the way, and may take a little time to roll out in all the Online Stores. According to further details provided by Apple, the Cupertino Company has also released the Compressor 4.0.2 version of the application for the Final Cut Pro tools.

Following the Final Cut Pro X v10.0.3, and Compressor 4.0.2 launch, Apple has also launched the Motion 5.0.2 update to the users with the couple of major updates to all the suites around the platform. A day before these updates launches, Apple had launched the AirPort Utility 6.0 and AirPort Base Station firmware updates to the general public.

Final Cut Pro X Updates: XML Support, 30-Day Trial Period

After getting the massive negative response from the users of Apple’s Final Cut Pro X, back in July, after the release of new version of Final Cut Pro X, Apple promised to reinstate the XML support in the latest software, which allow users to import the old files into the new and to convert them according to the new version.

Now finally after few months of first release, Apple has released a new update to Final Cut Pro X, which includes the XML feature along with the couple of other improvements. Apple has tried their best to full fill the needs of its customer, but we still is this update can stop users negative feedback?

Apple has now done a big change in the policy of Final Cut Pro X, Apple now offering a 30-day free trail period before the sale of the Final Cut Pro X, means now no more users waste their money on Apple’s pro editing software, and will also gets information about the software before purchasing.
ChangeLog:

• Support for events and projects through Xsan, the company’s technology that allows multiple computers to concurrently access storage

• Support for media stems (or audio channeling). This lets users assign a “role” to media once it’s imported, so that when it’s time to export things like dialogue, sound effects and soundtracks, those exports can be done in a single pass.

• Custom starting timecodes

• Full-screen view toggle for Mac OS X Lion users

• GPU-accelerated export (was previously only CPU-based)

One of the main software update feature of Final Cut Pro X is the support of XML, which allow users to import and export their projects to take them into the Final Cut Pro 7 and other professional supported editing software. Final Cut Pro X 10.1 isn’t in the Mac App Store yet, but if Cnet’s already taken a look at it, expect it to hit the MAS sometime later today.

Prior to the release of Final Cut Pro X, available on the App store for $299, was filmed by Matt’s Macintosh, in which he pointed at some new functions, including the magnetic timeline, the iMovie-like UI as well as some additional support Apple has provided through the software update. Apple Releases Final Cut Pro X, Motion 5 and Compressor 4 available in Mac App Store

After a lot of screenshots leak finally it makes its way to the launch, Apple has finally released the Final Cut Pro X, Motion 5 and Compressor 4 on the Mac App Store. The new version of Final Cut Pro X offer numbers of new features such as a Magnetic Timeline, which let you to edit on flexible and trackless canvas. Content Auto-Analysis is one the also new feature that categorize your content upon the bases of import by media, shot type and people, new version of Final Cut Pro X also allow you to do background rendering, which allow you to work without any interruption.

According to the Apple’s issued press release, Final Cut Pro X is available in Mac App Store for $299.99 and the Motion 5 and Compressor 4 are also available in Mac App Store for download with the price tag of 49.99$ each.
