We personally know how the analyst reports bugs the industry most of the time with their predictions and expectations regarding several growing companies. Just in case of Apple, every other analyst climbs into the headline with its skeptical claims regarding the upcoming product or the overall company progress in the on-going year. A new report just came from an analyst, Peter Misek with Jefferies who claimed that Apple’s most rumored HDTV product will not be called “iTV”, instead the company will brand it as “iPanel”, and moreover, the product will shortly enter in the massive production level somewhere in May of 2012 to follow up the launch of a device in the Q4 of 2012.

iPanel HDTV

Apple has been rumored from several months to be engaged in the testing, and production of the HDTV television box with advanced protocols and features to revolutionize the world with its another product in the market. Apple’s so-called “iPanel” is rumored to be featuring a processor with an ability to be act like a gaming console, web browser, intelligent sync capabilities, and the most astonishing addition of Siri virtual assistant in the television.

However, the name “iTV” is connected with Apple from several last years, and we have also heard from close sources that Apple is working on the device to make it more powerful and feature-full than user’s expectations. No doubt on Apple’s work on its iOS devices, it is believed that Apple might introduce its new Apple HDTV product called “iPanel” in a market soon with having a price tag of around $1500.

The analyst believes that Foxconn and Sharp will play a key role in the production of this new Apple HDTV product, as Apple coupled of on-going lawsuits with Samsung, and undoubtedly will never want to reveal its secret technology to Samsung, because Samsung already had something similar to it but it appears the Samsung device is not quite good to make it ways to top-charts.

Apple iTV HDTV Entering In Commercial Production In May – June, Launch In Q4 2012

While the rest of the world is crazy about the upcoming third-generation iPad launch, there are some analysts who started their work back with their old claims. Apple’s upcoming “iTV” or HDTV from the Cupertino Company, is just a highly rumored device in the industry, many sources around the world have reported about the product, but nothing comes up with proof on their reports. However, the old runner in the Apple’s iTV HDTV rumor mill, Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster, again comes back with a new claim on the Apple’s upcoming television, while weighing his old claim of Apple was testing different component’s providers for the upcoming product, and being in talk with different major personalities of the tech industry to include them on their Apple TV project.

Well, there are no proofs on the claim but still, media is referring to Jefferies & Co. analyst Peter Misek, who has claimed recently that the actual process of the production and manufacturing of the upcoming Apple TV product is on the move, with little steps in the market to hide their self from being caught by market watchers. The analyst reported on his recently has visited to Asia, on which he came to know that many big component providers are currently shipping very small quantity of their products to Apple for the in-house production of the device, and wide-range testing of the device with other quality ranking component developers.

In addition to the little move, Misek also claimed that the device would be soon entering the commercial production phase around the timeframe of May or June, while following the actual announcement and launch of the device in the fourth quarter of this year. However, according to us, we doesn’t think that Apple is in such hurry to introduce a new product in the market, but still we have to believe on the analyst reports, as the rumor mil suggested last month that Apple is about to start its own TV channel streaming for the iOS users, or some new product.

iTV Trademark Holder Alerts Apple About Upcoming “Apple HDTV”

by Hamza Tariq - on Mar 7th 2012 - No Comments

A pick of the month among the best rumors so far is the Apple’s iTv, but no solid satisfaction among the sources have been seen regarding this rumor. As we came to know about the fact that Steve Jobs biography has been “cracked” that the “simplest user interface you could imagine” for a television, rumors about the company’s plans have been circulating widely.

The rumors about the suggested name for the Apple’s new production but it comes up with certain clashes like that Apple will change the “Apple TV” name over to the new product, while others have believed that “iTV” would be the company’s preferred name which will raise trademark and branding issues with other entities such as the UK’s ITV network. Notably, Apple has done this before in 2006 when he offers to change the product Apple Tv from ITv right before its launch in 2007.

Aside from British television network, which is the highest-profile hurdle to any effort by Apple to gain the rights to the iTV, there are others who hold rational assets rights related to the name, and for sure, Apple will fight to get this brand name.
From a press release set to be published tomorrow, Patrick Hughes, president and CEO of iTV Entertainment, LLC, will be taking his case public tomorrow in an attempt to incentive Apple into discussion of the trademark with warnings of legal and/or regulatory action if Apple should introduce a product under the “iTV” name. While Hughes himself does not hold a trademark on the “iTV” but he does hold one on “iTV Entertainment”.

Samsung Underestimates Apple On iTV (HDTV) Business

by Hamza Tariq - on Feb 15th 2012 - No Comments

Since the Cupertino giant revealed a part of its upcoming plan to enter in the real TV market by introducing a new product that aims to reinvent the Television market with their astonishing features in the market. We have seen many of its rival underestimates it on the decision and says that they can’t beat anyone the market as the other manufacturers have good grip in the market. Apple has directly approached the Samsung by planning to enter in the market; Samsung is known for its good picture quality screens.

Many industry experts claimed that rival companies had just started their work to reinvent their products to semi-beat the Apple’s upcoming television series product. It’s not the first time that Apple is rumored in media on entering in the real TV world, but this time everything is appearing in right direction. In a new report, it appears that someone at Samsung is really unaware of Apple’s products image in the real market, and commented on the arrival of Apple’s upcoming television product as underestimating the Apple.

A Samsung manage indicates in a comment that his company is confident that Apple cannot beat them with their new product, as Samsung is old ruler of picture quality in the market. According to the manager, the users only interested in the picture quality not at least in the other features of the device, and by joining the market Apple only going to waste a big money as they have no renowned experiences in the display market and they are using Samsung and LG display panels to power their devices.

“We’ve not seen what they’ve done but what we can say is that they don’t have 10,000 people in R&D in the vision category,” [Samsung product manager Chris Moseley] said.

“They don’t have the best scaling engine in the world and they don’t have world renowned picture quality that has been awarded more than anyone else.

“TVs are ultimately about picture quality. Ultimately. How smart they are…great, but let’s face it that’s a secondary consideration. The ultimate is about picture quality and there is no way that anyone, new or old, can come along this year or next year and beat us on picture quality.

“So, from that perspective, it’s not a great concern but it remains to be seen what they’re going to come out with, if anything.”

Well, we are not going to give much weight to a Samsung product manager, as he is the only product manager not a senior executive and he will be less known to the market upcoming plans and worries of the company regarding the Apple HDTV. Apple is working on the new Apple HDTV in secret, and has not revealed any clue into on this.
