Steve Jobs’ biography authorized by Isaacson’s is almost around the corner and some associated press got their hands on it before the Official Launch of the Book. The day before we told you about the one wrong decision made by Steve Jobs regarding his life, made him lose the battle against cancer and lost his life.
The associated press revealed some quotes from the Biography of Steve Jobs suggesting that he was very upset from Google, in order for making Android. The associated press have shared some highlights of Steve Jobs’ reaction on the launch of an Android in 2010 which copied many of the features of iPhone. Jobs told Isaacson that Google’s actions amounted to “grand theft.”
“I will spend my last dying breath if I need to, and I will spend every penny of Apple’s $40 billion in the bank, to right this wrong,” Jobs said. “I’m going to destroy Android, because it’s a stolen product. I’m willing to go thermonuclear war on this.”
Some time later Jobs met with Eric Schmidt in Palo Alto, Calif., cafe and told him that he was not interested in settling the lawsuit for $5 Billion.
“I don’t want your money. If you offer me $5 billion, I won’t want it. I’ve got plenty of money. I want you to stop using our ideas in Android, that’s all I want.”
Jobs only wanted Android to stop using their ideas and the case would be resolved. These quotes from the book of Steve Jobs help in understanding the lawsuits which were and are going against Samsung and HTC, country wise and Apple is looking forward to block the sales of these products also.
