Skype has announced a new version of Skype For Mac OS and Windows in a blog post today, featuring the interesting Facebook to Facebook video calls right from the Skype desktop client, as well as other performance improvements such as smoother video rendering during the call on both operating systems. The new beta version of the desktop client also supports the group screen sharing for Windows users, but only for the users who are with a Premium subscription.

One of the most interesting features of the today’s released Skype is obviously the Facebook video call from desktop client. If you have been using the latest version of the Skype, you must have knowledge that it provides you to dig on your Facebook Friends’ social feed, and gives a box to update your Facebook Status right from the Skype desktop client, but now with the new release of software, you guys can also call your friends from the app.
