It appears that Samsung has finally beat the Apple in selling most smartphones in this quarter, as Apple has announced this week their earning call and Samsung also reported about their success sometime before them. WSJ points out that there source has hinted up that Korean manufacture has worked hard in this quarter and soon going to post their earning calls with more than 20 million shipment volume of smartphones.

Apple has recently gain this title from the Nokia and all other vendors by shipping more devices than any other manufacture, but it seems that they are not going to carry the title anymore after the earning call of Samsung about their this quarter. Apple has posted on Tuesday that they have sold 17.1 million iPhones during the last three month period.

But on the other hand it seems that Samsung as well not going to carry this title anymore, because Apple has already announced that they have sold more than four million iPhone 4S devices with in the week, and still there device is limited only to seven countries but soon at the end of the month they will launch the new iPhone 4S to some other countries too, which going to boost their annual earning call and as well again allows them to snatch the title back from Samsung.
