Following up the Bloomberg’s tomorrow report of claiming the Samsung as the sole supplier of the Retina Display panel to the Apple for the production of the next iPad, while it was reported that LG Display and Sharp had failed to meet the Apple’s requirements on the next generation iPad, however it is now reported by Reuters that they have recently heard from an anonymous source that LG Display has also played an important role in supplying the new Retina Display panel for the new iPad.

Last year, we have heard a lot of rumors on the display panel supply to Apple from the manufacturers for the new iPad, but finally this year it is now confirmed that LG Display and Samsung had played an important role in the production of the next generation iPad with Apple. The new iPad is scheduled to launch on Friday at 8 AM, on March 16th. However, only a day or two days left from getting the reports from the teardown industry about the upcoming device, and then it will be cleared to whole world that who produced the Retina Display to Apple for the new iPad.

“Flat screen make LG Display Co Ltd is supplying touch-screen panels for Apple Inc’s new iPad, a source close tot he matter said on Wednesday.

Bloomberg reported earlier that Samsung Electronics Co Ltd was the sole supplier for the new iPad, launched last week, after LG and Japan’s Sharp Corp failed to meet the U.S company’s quality requirements

“LG is also in a panel supply deal with Samsung for the new iPad,” the source said. The source was not authorized to speak to the media and declined to be identified.”
