In the last couple of weeks we have seen many images leaks of Google’s and Samsung’s Nexus Prime, a device which is labeled to be the first Google’s Ice Cream Sandwich device, sources keep leaking the screenshots of the internal firmware build of Nexus Prime, and it was also not confirmed whether device is exists and is Samsung is the manufacturer of the device? We had couple of questions in our mind regarding the phone device, today it is reported that in attempt to stop the leak of internal build images, Samsung has grounded the source with legal letter to stop leaking their confidential data to public, and also confirms that the device is built by Samsung.
“It has come to our attention that you are wrongfully in possession of, and intend to release or otherwise publicly disclose without Samsung’s consent, firmware for the Nexus Prime,”
The source who nears to the Geek.com, just received the letter from Samsung legal department to stop publishing the internal Nexus Prime firmware, which is exclusively the property of the Samsung and its partners and others who helped them in developing such device. It was also reported by the source that the letter they received was signed by the Samsung’s General Counsel, Bryan Hopkins. We have obtained the image of letter from the source, but they removed the name of source. Some other folks around the web has also reached Samsung to know about the legitimacy of the letter.
Recently it was rumored and revealed by several reliable sources, which has good keep in track regarding revealing future products launch date. Nexus Prime to be the first ever phone who carries the Google’s next generation (Android 4.0) Ice Cream Sandwich and it was also rumored that the device will launch in October on Verizon Wireless.
