A day after the release of iTunes 10.5.1 and iOS 5.0.1 beta, Apple has releases the Safari 5.1.2 beta version to developers. As usual, the new version of Safari comes up with some bug fixes and overall performance improvements. Apple has highlighted that the new version fixes the PDF viewing bug from Safari age.
Safari 5.1.2 fixes issues where PDFs in frames were not displayed in the browser. Please test this build with websites that display PDF document’s inline such as banks and document management systems.
The new Safari 5.1.2 beta is available to registered developers, so if you are a developer you can easily climb up to Apple’s Developer Portal and can download the Safari for Windows or Mac OS X. Apple asks developers to test the new Safari release against printing and mouse and keyboard interaction.
