After the release of the Untethered Jailbreak for iOS 5.0.1, we have came across many issues with the Untethered Jailbreak and for that every issue, we have gotten a new update of Redsn0w. Previously Redsnow was updated to fix the issues with the Mobile Substrate Apps, which stopped working after the Untethered Jailbreak.
Later today the Dev-Team made another update to their tool Redsn0w, to fix the issues with iBooks on iOS 5.0.1 Untethered Jailbreak.
The b4 version of redsn0w incorporates the 5.0.1 fix for iBooks, and also for sporadic problems with launchctl. Thanks to @xvolks for merging the iBooks (sandbox) fix from @comex’s github into the overall corona untether from @pod2g! As usual, you can choose to install the fix either by re-running redsn0w over your existing jailbreak (de-select Cydia if you do that), or by installing the corona package from Cydia (it’s the same set of files no matter which way you choose).
This update was made with the help of @ xvolks who made it possible for merging the iBooks (Sandbox) fix from the @Comex’s github. He was working on this thing for past few weeks and today he finally released it. Like this the Hacker called @Pod2g is on his full swing for the iPhone 4S and iPad 2 Untethered Jailbreak. Today he demoed the Untethered Jailbreak for iPhone 4S running iOS 5.0.1. Still there is no eta for the Untethered Jailbreak for iPhone 4S and iPad 2, but we assume that the Untethered Jailbreak for iPad 2 and iPhone 4S will be debuting in few days. The release is imminent because many things have started to update in Cydia.
The next update of Redsnow might include iOS 5.0.1 Untethered Jailbreak for iPad 2 and iPhone 4S. Stay tuned.
Till then you can download Redsn0w 0.9.10b4 for
