Apple has released an EFI Software update today for Macbook Air, which drives the EFI software to version 2.1 and adds couple of fixes to the old known issues of Apple’s Thunderbolt Displays and Target Disk Mode. The update will kill the all recent bugs which slows down the performance of displays on Mac OS X Lion Recovery, when users recover their OS from internet.

Apple released new MacBook Airs back in July along with announcement of Apple’s New Thunderbolt displays, which was lately renamed as Cinema Display that comes up with support of Thunderbolt alongside an Ethernet port to allow for easy daisy-chaining of peripherals and network access.
