Looks like things at Sprint have taken a U-Turn. Sprint backed out Employees vacations because of the launch of the new iPhone, Sprint said that due to the possibility of major phone launch in October we are backing out from September 30th to October 15th.
Now TUAW reports that Sprint has begun training its sales representatives for the launch of iPhone 4 on its carrier.
A Sprint Nextel sales associate told TUAW that the carrier has started briefing its employees on an imminent Sprint iPhone 4 launch.
The briefing reportedly told the sales team that Sprint will begin offering the iPhone 4 in October 2011 (next month) with standard Sprint data plans; they will include a $10 data smartphone premium that is not specific to iPhone.
The report also claims that Sprint will not be offering iPhone 5 till next year. Hopefully they will offer in next Spring.
This report brings up one doubtful question.
“When iPhone 4 is already launched, so what is the purpose of re launching it?”
They might be hiding something behind this. They might be getting iPhone 4S launched? or what can be the possible reason behind this?
What do you think about the question?
