The upcoming iPhone which is probably iPhone 5 will be a single Phone with the support of dual networks. This means that the iPhone 5 will support CDMA which is Verizon and Sprint and GSM which is T-Mobile and AT&T in U.S.A. The compatibility of CDMA was confirmed by the Verizon C.F.O in the meeting.
Now Techcrunch reports that they contacted the developers which cannot be named and their names are to be kept secret gave a solid proof to them about the above rumor.
According to this person, and app usage logs I was sent, a tiny number of people have recently registered for one of their applications from a single, brand new Apple device that is decidedly dual-mode – meaning it supports both CDMA and GSM.
The logs show that the app has been briefly tested by a handful of people using what is almost certainly an iPhone 5, evidently running iOS 5, sporting two distinct sets of mobile network codes (MNC) / mobile country codes (MCC). Those codes can be used to uniquely identify mobile carriers.
Sure enough, some registrations for the app – which the developer also asked not to be named – were logged from a new Apple device, using the MNC/MCC codes from both Verizon and AT&T.
This will be good if Apple released on GSM and CDMA. The reports also states that the iPhone 5 will release in the 3rd QTR of 2011. So the release is said to be on 7th October or in between 7th-10th October. The October release was confirmed by the AT&T V.P. n the other hand it is also said that China Mobile will make iPhone 5 this year because Steve Jobs had secret meetings China Mobile.
Later today iPhone 5 Battery parts were leaked which confirms the next iPhone to be more slimmer.
So how many of you are waiting for the iPhone 5 release.?
