Looks like we are now close to the Downgrade of the iPad Baseband. Long back we reported that iPad Baseband 6.15.00 for iPhone 3G/3GS will be downgraded to 5.13.01 in order to fix your GPS issues. Tat report was a hope for us and not long it became a dream for us.
After some time Sherif_Hashim came into works and showed a video proof of the iPad Baseband Downgrade, which is still not implemented and it was told that it got some issues. This video hope also became a dream for us. This time according to a Tweet, our hopes are revived again.
News on unlocks:
@MuscleNerd has been working on an 06.15 iPad BB downgrade (&unlock) for 3G/3GS which should be released after iOS 5 drops.
We really hope so that this news comes true as @MuscleNerd is working for iOS 5 Jailbreak, obviously for iDevices rather than iPad 2. The update to Redsn0w is said to be a Major one and it will bring out a whole new UI and Look.
where as @MuscleNerd is working for the Untethered Jailbreak for iOS 5 for previous iDevices and left the support for iPad 2, so today @P0sixninja announced that they are ready for the Jailbreak for iPad 2 and iPhone 5 on iOS 5. They are just waiting for the release of iPhone 5.
UpdateX1:
