Apple has already in the eyes of media with their this week education-focused media event on Thursday, but the rumors started appearing on the publications’ desk that company is making plan to arrange another media event earlier next month for the announcement of Apple’s next-generation iPad 3. A Japanese blog Macotakara, one of the publications in the rumor mill that leak information regarding the upcoming events from Apple. The source has received a report that Apple is planning for earlier February event to introduce iPad 3 in the market, and to follow the launch by early March.
The event for iPad 3 launch is said to be also covering the next upcoming iOS 5.1, which is currently in the developer beta testing from few months, and Apple has already seeded three beta versions of iOS 5.1 to developers on their portal. The event is seemed to be following the footstep of iPad 2 launch last year by Apple, but in these rumored dates, we have noticed that the gap between the actual launch of the device in the market is bit longer than iPad 2, and Apple has already worked a lot with its manufacturers to overcome to this problem for its iOS devices.
From the past, we have learned that Apple tends longer gaps between the announcement and availability of the device in the market, to securely get the approvals from regulatory without even risking leaks of product details before the actual appearance of the device in the market.
