iOS 5 To Unlock The Bluetooth Functionality Of Apple TV, Allow To Connect KeyBoard

Last night Apple has kicked out the third beta of iOS 5, and dev’s start their work of revealing the new and hidden features of it, some folks have spotted the snippet of codes under the iOS 5 beta 3 for Apple TV, which carries the code which allow user to use the Bluetooth functionality of their second generation Apple TV. The new  2nd generation Apple TV contains a combination Wi-Fi/Bluetooth chip, but the functionality of use of Bluetooth is not allowed to use or enable it, in the present state in older versions. So if the new iOS 5, would allow users to activate it, than its means user can contact the wireless keyboard to their Apple TV and use it to play games or surfing internet on it.

As noted by 9 to 5 Mac, the Apple TV iOS 5 beta contains Bluetooth activation strings such as:

– “Your Apple TV is paired with this %@”
– “The pairing attempt was unsuccessful. Make sure your device is in range of this Apple TV, turn on and ‘discoverable.’ When ready, click Continue to try again.”

Pairing of Wireless keyboard to the Apple TV also makes the text entry easier in Apple TV, simplifying such tasks as initial setup with iTunes Store accounts and Wi-Fi network passwords as well as day-to-day content searching. The activation of Apple’s Bluetooth functionality also opens the door to host the development of other projects to run on the Apple TV platform. If they allow pairing of keyboard than later may be we see Bluetooth peripherals such as gaming controllers.
