Just right after the release of iOS 5 to developers, we caught many features of iOS 5 and all of them makes user happy except the killing of untethered jailbreak in iOS 5. So today, a reader at 9to5mac has just posted a picture of iOS 5 which shows an alert box asking the user to turn on cellular data or WiFi to use FaceTime. For the confirmation of that issue, we have played with iOS 5 preference settings and got the exactly box on screen which shown in the image. To get the issue on our screen, firstly we turn off the Cellular Data form the Network tab then open the FaceTime’s preference settings, and on that moment you will get the box a asking you to turn on cellular data or WiFi to use FaceTime.
Off course this could be a big news for iPhone, iPod and iPad 2 owners, because previously use of FaceTime is limited to Wi-Fi only, but now it seems that Apple is thinking to give a try to 3G network, on other hand we heard from our sources that carriers force Apple to make FaceTime available on faster connections only (Wi-Fi). Well, jailbreak community has already proved with the amazing tweak which enables FaceTime on 3G on iOS 4.3 that it can work well with optimal 3G Speed.
