When the Apples iPhone 4S was released back in October, 2011 we reported about the 3G toggle which was missing in iPhone 4S, iOS 5 but the same iOS on iPhone 3GS had the 3G enabling toggle. It was just figured that due to a non 3G device, as it was nearer tot thye 3G that was the HSDPA. Phill Schiller on the “Let’s Talk iPhone” event described that it wasn’t a 4G LTE device but still was going to beat all the other 4G LTE devices on ground.

In the new iPhone 4S there was only a toggle of enabling the cellular data which automatically enabled the 3G but not the Edge. Folks around Asia, many don’t even have the 3G service around. Many more has come in iOS 5.1 beta 3, so wait and watch, but for the jailbreaking folk’s stay away until and unless any positive sign is shown up by the known hackers.
