HTC Rhyme is an Android phone with an eye for the ladies. Going against the grain of the typical black/gray/white Android handset, this one is a rich plum color and modest specs. With a single-core 1GHz processor, 5MP camera, Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), 768 MB of RAM and 4 GB of storage space, a light up “charm” that glows when there is a missed call, and matching Bluetooth headset & headphones, we imagine this one will be priced quite affordably. Most interesting is that the new phone will be the first to come with HTC Sense 3.5 including WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and a microSD slot for memory expansion and it will run on the Verizon Wireless network. It has a a svelte shape with a dangling ‘Rhyme Charm’.

Furthermore, HTC Rhyme hopes to charm consumers with accessories.

HTC Rhyme will be available for pre-order at Target starting today and will be available in stores on 29 September. Most probably, the price tag  will be $199 with a two-year contract with Verizon. Whereas, the Rhyme will exclusively be available under O2?s wing from October 17 in U.K.
