
There is good news for the HTC One X users. They now have news to cheer. The Taiwan manufacturer has planned to roll out the Jelly bean update for its smartphone next month, i.e. in October.
Who goes first on Jelly Bean update?
The company will first roll out the update for the non-carrier branded models. After these models, the update will be available for the carrier locked models. According to MoDaCo, the site that reported about the update, if Google as well as operators give a green signal for this update, HTC One X units will carry this update by Christmas.
Other models to get update too
It is confirmed that HTC One X+ will be shipping with this update and also the HTC One XL will have the update. With this it will become the first 4G handset that will include Everything Everywhere network. HTC One XL might come anywhere in the coming few months.
Initial news about the update
Initially HTC confirmed about the update in July along with HTC One S and HTC One XL. With two of these three smartphones receiving the update, it is expected that HTC One S might also hear this good news soon.
What is HTC One X?
HTC One X is the latest device. HTC as of now is also eyeing on launching the successor of this smartphone. The specifications of this successor were recently also leaked on the Twitter by one of the users. At its event, HTC also launched two Windows 8 phones- HTC 8X and HTC 8S.
