How to Unlock iPhone 4 (Old Baseband) and iPhone 3GS On iOS 4.3.2 Using Ultrasn0w 1.2.2

Just like Ultrasn0w 1.2.1 update, iPhone Dev team released a new update to the current ultrasn0w to provide unlock on latest released iOS 4.3.2, we have already covered an alternative way to make compatible older version of ultrasn0w to work on iOS 4.3.2 but it was not official way to make compatible ultrasn0w. So today they finally release the official update of ultrasn0w to unlock iPhone 4 (Old Basebands), iPhone 3GS  running iOS 4.3.2.


Please note:

  • · Ultrasn0w works for basebands (01.59.00 / 04.26.08 / 05.11.07 / 05.12.01 / 05.13.04 / 06.15.00)
  • · Ultrasn0w is NOT compatible with the following basebands! (02.10.04 / 03.10.01 / 04.10.01 / 05.14.02 / 05.15.04)


It’s highly recommend you to restore iOS 4.3.2 custom firmware to preserve baseband update and for this you can use Sn0wbreeze 2.6 (Windows) or PwnageTool (Mac OS X), it not only preserve baseband also provides you untethered jailbreak on iOS 4.3.2.  After restoring custom iOS 4.3.2 firmware and jailbreak process, head to these simple steps to unlock your iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS running on iOS 4.3.2 with ultrasn0w 1.2.2.


Step 1:

Firstly backup your device using latest released iTunes and then cook custom iOS 4.3.2 firmware with Sn0wbreeze 2.6 or PwnageTool to restore via iTunes.

Step 2:

Once you have done with Jailbreaking process, connect your device with internet using WiFi connection.

Step 3:

Launch Cydia on your device from Springboard, then tap on changes and then on “Refresh” or let the Cydia do a complete Update and it will show you an Update.

Step 4:

Once changes are refreshed, now select Ultrasn0w and update it. If you got Ultrasn0w Fixer so it will remove it automatically.


After you are finished, restart your iPhone and now you should be Unlocked on iPhone 4 (Old baseband) and iPhone 3GS.
