How To Prevent Accidental iOS 4.3.4 Update From iOS 4.3.3

Few hours ago Apple has just released the software update for its current generation iOS 4.3, the main idea behind the release of this beta is only to fix the latest unveiled PDF exploit in Safari which allows Comex Userland JailbreakMe 3.0 to jailbreak the iPad 2 and all other iOS devices running on iOS 4.3.3. This update of iOS is already hinted several times by different jailbreak developers before and after the release of JailbreakMe exploit.

So it is highly recommended at this time, not to update your iOS device to latest released iOS 4.3.4 because this time its unclear that  what type of changes Apple has done in iOS 4.3.4, and it is also not confirmed that i0n1c untethered jailbreak is still present or Apple has also killed it. So if you are still going to update your iOS 4.3.4, dev’s have announced to save the iOS 4.3.3 SHSH blobs because Apple is still signing at the time of writing the post. And as know its really hard to prevent automatic iOS update, because whenever you connect your iOS device with computer running iTunes it will throw you a pop-up message box which ask you to update your iOS update and several users click on update accidentally, and after updating to latest version you lose your Jailbreak Status and if you rely on the unlock, you also lose your unlock status.

To Prevent the automatic update and show iTunes that you are on the latest firmware, we have complied a short tutorial on how to do it and save your iOS device and keep stay in jailbreak status.

Step 1:Download iFile from Cydia Store.

Step 2: Go into System/Library/CoreServices/SystemVersion.plistand open the file in Text Viewer.

Step 3:Tap on Edit button present on top left side.

Step 4:Change 4.3.3 to 4.3.4 and 8J2 to 8K2 and tap on Save button.

Step 5:Reboot your device.

Now connect your device with iTunes and you won’t receive any update warnings.
