Launchpad is an application launcher that was announced alongside Mac OS X Lion. It is designed to be simpler than OS X’s current application launching system.

Once you start Launchpad, click on an icon with the left mouse button and keep pressing.Just like on the iPhone and iPad, the icons will begin to tremble and you can move them at will and manage them as you see fit. In addition, by moving an icon over another icon will create a folder that can be renamed in a few seconds.

Finally, during the “shake”, all Mac apps downloaded from App Store (and only those) can be uninstalled by clicking theX.
