Apple has delivered around 200 or more hidden features to iOS with the launch of the next-generation iOS 5. There are few visible and most talked iOS 5 features, iMessage, iOS 5 notification center and the Wi-Fi, it was reported by the Jailbreak hackers that two of them was designed and originally distributed by them in the Cydia Store, but later Apple include them in the final version of iOS 5. Personally, I like all the above-mentioned features, but the iOS 5 notification system gets some more attention by myself, as well as by the developers too.

Later, iOS 5 notification become the main target of the developers to through their handy plugins into the iOS 5 notification center, and to provide a much easier way to check out the device. After seeing the work of iOS 5 notification center, many users express their views that there might be a feature similar to it for the Mac OS X Lion Apple has already baked the OS X Lion with a lot of iOS flavor, and didn’t announce any such thing for the OS X users. But it appears. Someone is there with the same awesome piece for our OS X system.

The developer behind the Growl, announced that they are baking the similar notification layout and system for the Mac OS X users, and the developers have finally launched the theme for the growl notifications to looks like an iOS 5 notification system on OS X.

You must have Growl installed on your OS X, it can be found over the Mac App Store for $1.99.
