If you have knowledge about the inner parts of the MacBook Air, then you must know that current MacBook Air features SSD chips which takes them to faster boot, but now thanks to NEC. A Japanese firm has just released a successor of the SSD’s which let your MacBook Air to retrieve data 1000x times faster than now. The new chip is called CAM or Content Addressable Memory, and this chip has ability to save data even when a connection to the actual chip itself is unavailable. NEC Corporation promises by itself that new chip offer data retrieval up to 1000 times faster than a standard solid-state drive (SSD).
