If you are thinking that you would get a final interface and play with it for a foreseeable future, well then you are wrong. No one is going to stop bringing updates and all into their products. I got these emotions when Facebook declared something that atleast I wouldn’t have thought of. Yes they are now letting us embed videos and pictures in our comments, just as we do on wall posts and blogs. Tagging our friends and family in contacts was something out of the box already, and now this.
According to Facebook:
“Today we are launching a commenting feature that allows you to embed videos, photos, or web sites in comments just by including a URL. Your comment will include a video player, a thumbnail of a photo, or a brief overview of the web site being linked to. If you prefer your comment without the preview, you can remove the preview with one click.”
So now whenever you put up a URL in a comment, Facebook will automatically grab the media from visiting that link and put up a thumbnail inside that comment area. On the other hand, if you don’t like this option and want no preview of them videos and pictures, then just click ‘Remove Preview’ at the bottom of a comment and the preview would be gone.
This is a very nice move from Facebook, for a long term period, because it will make many many users watch the videos and see the picture of that link inside that comment area on Facebook, rather than visiting the link, and thus it would increase the time of a user being on Facebook obviously. How is that for a trick? Oh you smarty Zuckerburg.
So MrInternetTips put up a video on Facebook too, for those who still don’t get how to use this new option in Facebook Comments
So how was this for experimenting with the Facebook features? Was it handy?
