Since the Absinthe iOS 5.0.1 Untethered Jailbreak lands in the public platform, the jailbreak developer team has updated the exploit couple of times to make it perfect and less buggy for the users who are running jailbroken device on the iOS 5.0.1. One of the main bugs of Absinthe was the incompatibility of the exploit with Apple’s iBook application that has been used by a large number of users on their iOS devices.

However, the exploit is said to be quite fixed with the most recent update of Redsn0w from the iPhone DevTeam that carries the fix to iBooks DRM issue, but didn’t solve the issue completely as the fix comes up with another kind of bug in apps that wouldn’t display the images properly, but the whole bug scenario suggests the upcoming update of Corona untether exploit, so finally today the Dream Team behind the exploit has just launched a new version of Corona that comes up with the complete fix to iBooks DRM issue.

Saurik today on twitter tweeted that PlanetBeing has worked a lot on Corona to fix the iBooks issue and finally able to get it working on the exploit, and the team has again launched a new version of Corona for the public. If you have already been running a device that had been jailbroken with cydia tweak called Corona, simply open Cydia and get the latest version of the exploit to fix the issue.

As reminded by the iPhone Dev Team, the Corona untethered exploit is only for the latest devices that are carrying the A4 and A5 processors, means iPhone 4 / iPhone 3GS (new bootrom), iPhone 4 CDMA, iPad 1, iPod Touch, etc.

It is recommended to you to jailbreak your device again with the updated version of exploit to fix the number of known issues on your device, as the jailbreak developer team had done a lot of work on it to make it more perfect for your devices.
