Corona Untethered Jailbreak For iOS 5.0.1 Updated With iBooks Fix

The release of the Corona iOS 5.0.1 untethered jailbreak tweak has not come up with a good compatibility track for the devices, as we have seen couple of quick updates to the tweak on its arrival from the Chronic Dev Team. The Corona untethered jailbreak, first got its update from Chronic Dev Team to fix the Launchctl error on the devices, to make the untethered jailbreak working on all available devices.

Unfortunately, the first quick update to Corona untethered jailbreak was not enough to the entire jailbreak to fix all the bugs from the Corona. One of the main issues with Corona jailbreak was the incompatibility of the Apple’s provided iBooks app for the iOS devices, which led the jailbreak team to again launch a new update to the tweak to fix the issue. However, the hacker already announced in the public that they are soon going to launch a update to Corona to fix the iBooks issue.

Finally today, Saurik has today announced over twitter that new version of Corona 1.0-5 is out in Cydia to download it on devices to fix the iBooks issue on iOS 5.0.1. According to Saurik, the new tweak as well solves the launchctl error on iOS devices for boot problem on iOS 5.0.1.

From now, you have two options to apply on your devices to fix all the iOS 5.0.1 untethered jailbreak issues. If you have recently installed the Corona on the tethered jailbreak from Cydia, simply open Cydia and update the recent tweak to newer version. But if you are one of those who wishes to go with complete Redsn0w procedure, simply download the latest version of Redsn0w and run it over the recent jailbreak.
