It is not the first time that we have reported you something like this about the China’s market geeks, and the Apple’s iOS devices. In the past, we have seen many knockoff’s of iOS devices from Chinese’s folks, like knockoff model of MacBook Air from Chinese’s geeks, which look exactly same to the real MacBook Air but run a Windows operating system with more external ports on the same slim design. However, it is reported that some Chinese company in Shenzhen has just shown off their knockoff version of the iPad with running an Ice Cream Sandwich, along with many noticeable specifications.
The new iPad knockoff carries the dual core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A9 processor, along with an ARM Mali-400 MP processor to handle some additional requests on the device without losing performance of the device, and to give high performance on the device. It is also reported that the device was also appeared at CES 2012 this year, but it didn’t get much attention from the media geeks on the show, because at that time it runs only the Android 2.3.5.
The knockoff version of the iPad is named as NuSmart 2816M, and introduced by a Chinese IT company called “NuFront,” which claims that it is the first device that carries dual-core processor produced by a Chinese local manufacturer. According to the detailed information about the NuSmart 2816M, the device is carries a dual-core processor that can clock up to 2GHz for best performance of the device, and is running the next-generation Ice Cream Sandwich (Android OS). The company has told the media that their selected dual-core processor can go to up to 2Ghz, but for some reasons they have limited its performance to only 1.2 Ghz. There are no words from the company about the launch of the device in the market.
Personally, I don’t like the copied stuff, and as well as this tablet too! However, what do you think about this knockoff iPad version?
