It’s clear from the announcements and features of iOS 5 that Apple want to create wire-less environment and want to provide wireless syncing to users with its iCloud new services and Wi-Fi Sync feature in iOS 5, so by attempting this method users will not bound to connect their devices to their computers for syncs and backups. But now while looking at this patent which is submitted earlier this month it suggest that Apple not closing its technology on PC free also they want to develop such technology which allow users to charge their iOS devices wirelessly from their Mac’s. The patent filing is titled “WIRELESS POWER UTILIZATION IN A LOCAL COMPUTING ENVIRONMENT”.
In the technical words, this wireless charging method will use the near field magnetic resonance (NFMR) power transmission. As much as the devices close to the energy source, they get a wireless charge.
According to the Slashgear, Apple is currently working on the ways to implement wireless charging technology for its product to charge them wirelessly, suppose if they implement this technology in MacBook Air’s and iMac’s. It could wirelessly charge your number of iOS devices which are present in the range of wireless, like iPhone, iPad, iPod, Keyboards and mice.
I don’t think Apple could possibly do this, and even if does, it would be hazardous to be around such powerful energy field then. People might get scared of using iMacs and Macbooks. What do you think readers?
