Apple is making a progress day by day. Apple previously built its iPhone manufacturing plant in Brazil and today it announced in a press release that they are launching the iTunes Store in 16 countries including Brazil. The countries are Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru and Venezuela. A part from the release of iTunes store, Brazil has also gotten the support for iTunes Match. This makes Brazil the first country to get the support of iTunes Match after the release of iTunes Match back in November.
iTunes in the Cloud is available today for free in Brazil and Latin America and iTunes Match is available today for a $24.99 annual fee in Brazil.
With the release of iTunes store in 16 countries, The users are no able to purchase songs from iTunes of major labels such as EMI Music, Sony Music Entertainment, Universal Music Group, Warner Music as well as thousands of independent labels. They can now even purchase Movies from iTunes also. Where as iTunes Match is only releasing in Brazil today.
