This morning AT&T comes with announcement of its first two 4G LTE Network supported devices, which both said to be compatible to work with Mac: the USBConnect Momentum 4G and the Mobile Hotspot Elevate 4G. According to the announcement both device scheduled to release “this summer”, and will also support the LTE, HSPA+ and all recent announced technologies. In the start of release they only release these devices and their services to selected five cities: Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, and San Diego. So if you are living in the mentioned cities, get ready to get the 4G technology on your network.
Those who are not from these cities, don’t lose your hopes, because they have already mentioned in the announcement that they will expand their service to 15 more cities and 70 million Americans until the end of this year. Pricing is set at $49.99 for the Momentum 4G and $69.99 for the Elevate 4G after $50 mail-in rebates and with two-year contracts.
