According to the some last rumors of next-gen iPad 2 would be released in April, but the report came from Bloomberg’s that the research notes of Yuanta Securities Co, claims that Apple may delay the launch of iPad 2 from April to June. This delay may cause because of the “production bottleneck” at Hon Hai Precision Industry Co. These “bottlenecks” occurred because of the last minute design changes in iPad 2 by Apple.
On the other hand, the release date in month of June seems odd because this was a month on which Apple mostly launch their iPhones and also in this month Apple going to held their annual conference WWDC during the first two weeks of June.
We have also heard some rumors that Apple will launch their 3rd generation iPad 3 later this year with Retina Display, and the iPad 2 is rumored to be thinner, lighter, and faster and will reportedly sport more memory and faster graphics hardware.
