Apple Investigating WiFi Connectivity Issue On New iPad, Issues Replacements

by Hamza Tariq - on Apr 5th 2012 - 1 Comment

Got the new iPad, and now experience WiFi connectivity issues on your new iPad? If yes, then you are not alone in this race. There are many other users who have been facing the same WiFi connectivity issue on their new iPad devices. But no need to worry about your money! Because according to report, Apple is already on the issue, and working closely with the new iPad 3 customers to bring them to fix for this issue on their devices. The issue seems to be a hardware issue on the new iPad, and Apple is already announced internally that the devices with the WiF connectivity issues should be replaced and headed over to research lab for the deep investigation of the issue.

According to a leak internal Apple memo, Apple is now looking forward to collecting all those affected devices on its headquarter to perform testing on the devices to find the problem and then guide users on how to fix or get a replacement for the devices. Apple has clearly mentioned in the memo to “capture” those affected devices and heads over to Apple for the inspection and gives replacement on the warranty.

It is initially reported that users have been noticing a significant low connectivity of their new iPad devices with the local WiFi Networks, but now it is reported that WiFi only new iPad users are facing this issue only on their devices. We have also heard that this issue seems to be a hardware issue, not a Software based, which mean that it cannot be fixed with a iOS software update to new iPad users.

The users have been reportedly facing the less connectivity, slow data speeds, and significant drop of WiFi signals on their devices. Here’s one user explanation of the bug:

“I am in a hotel with my laptop and new iPad 3. The laptop Wi-Fi reception is as strong as it gets, but the iPad only registers a weak signal. Anyone else having similar problems? Any suggestions?”

We recommend you, if you are facing the similar issues on your iPad, then directly try to  book a seat at Apple Retail Store, or any Apple Store and bring them your iPad to check it for further investigations, and get the proper replacement of your device with corrected hardware.
