A new report surfaces from DigiTimes, on which they claimed that their sources “market watchers” have believe while digging in to the Apple’s Far East production line that Cupertino company will ship 12M to 14M iPad units in the next quarter of this year. This, it says, is up from the 7M to 9M units expected to be shipped by the end of this quarter.

If Apple were to ship 14 million iPad 2 units in the next quarter, it would be a number nearly three times greater than the 4.69 million units sold by Apple in its March quarter. That number was considered by Wall Street to be a mild disappointment.

They also believed that Apple to place orders aggressively for touchscreen panels and other components which uses in the production of iPad to ensure no shortage will encountered in the coming weeks and months.
