Apple Removes Mac OS X 10.7.3 Update From Servers

This week, Apple has seeded the third version of the Mac OS X Lion 10.7.3 to the users, but slightly after the couple of hours users started reporting about the weird bugs and crash issues on the Mac machines after installing Mac OS X 10.7.3 update on their machines. However, some users reported that they sorted out the problem by preventing the single update of Mac OS X lion 10.7.3, and installed the combo updater of Mac OS X 10.7.3.

Mac OS X 10.7.3 seems to be carrying the couple of critical issues in the core of the operating system, like boot loop, and few weird CUI CUI errors on the GUI of some options. Well, today it is reported that Apple has finally removed the Mac OS X 10.7.3 single update from their online servers and instead of releasing any update to the fixes for the meantime, they have redirected the single update users to combo updater and now advices to install update through the Mac OS X 10.7.3 Combo updater.

Apple has as well removed the direct links of the update that downloads the update directly from the servers, and puts the 404 page on the download link requests. Along with these prevention steps, Apple has also rolled out a slightly update to the combo updater of Mac OS X 10.7.3 and the new update appears to be few hundred megabytes larger than the standard installer, the new build of Mac OS 10.7.3 Combo Updater is “11D50b”. Users who installed the client 10.7.3 download will need to manually download the combined update from Apple’s website.
