Apple finally placed the Thunderbolt puzzle together. New devices are being announced and released and Apple’s new pair of Thunderbolt update hit yesterday which are to improve the stability and resolve issues and improve performance with the Apple Thunderbolt Display and Thunderbolt Target Disk Mode on 2011 Mac-Book Airs.
“This update includes fixes that enhance the stability of Lion Recovery from an Internet connection, and resolve issues with Apple Thunderbolt Display compatibility and Thunderbolt Target Disk Mode performance on MacBook Air (mid 2011) models”.

Thunderbolt Display Firmware Update (923 KB):
This update improves the stability of the Apple Thunderbolt Display.
The updater application will be installed in the Utilities folder inside the Application folder and will be launched automatically when you close this installer.
Please follow the instructions in the updater application to complete the update process.
– Thunderbolt Software Update (Snow Leopard) (65.48 MB):
This update provides support for the Apple Thunderbolt Display and bug fixes for Thunderbolt device compatibility.
The Snow Leopard Thunderbolt update requires Mac OS X 10.6.8.
