Earlier today Apple released iTunes 10.5 for MAC and Windows ahead of iOS 5 launch. They not only released iTunes 10.5 for MAC and Windows today, but they also released iTunes Match 10.5.1 Beta for developers with the support of Windows also.
iTunes 10.5.1 beta 1 includes several performance enhancements and bug fixes, and is a
required update for all subscribers to iTunes Match beta. iTunes Match is not included in the
iTunes 10.5 GM release
The last build of iTunes Match Beta 9 was released on September 30th. iTunes Match was said to be coming along with iOS 5 and iCloud on 12th of October. Due to some issues were not resolved, so Apple on its Media Event told that, iTunes Match will be coming by the end of October.
Apple released this build to identify and resolve the previous issues with the newly released build of iTunes Match 10.5.1. Still this build got some known issues.
• The scan & match feature is not yet complete.
– Some songs may not match (even if they is available in the iTunes Store) and will be
uploaded to iCloud.
– Other songs may match to a different version of the same song on the iTunes Store.
• You can only add music to iCloud from one computer at a time.
