Apple Pushed Out Migration Assistant Update Ahead Of OS X Lion Launch

Just a hour ago Apple has finally confirmed the tomorrow’s launch of Mac OS X Lion, means we will see the OS X Lion tomorrow in the Mac App Store for download. After the few minutes we have founded that on other side Apple has pushed out the update to the Migration Assistant for Snow Leopard users. According to description this update fixes the minor issues which prevent users from correctly transferring the personal data and apps from Snow Leopard computer to a new/old Mac running OS X Lion.


This update addresses an issue with the Migration Assistant application in Mac OS X Snow Leopard that prevents transfer of your personal data, settings, and compatible applications from a Mac running Mac OS X Snow Leopard to a new Mac running Mac OS X Lion.

The lightweight update can be downloaded now on Snow Leopard from Software Update, or directly from Apple’s website.
