Apple Ditched The iPhone 5 At Last Minute, The Lost Prototype Was Real (Rumor)

Once the news about Apple’s product is leaked, so there is no way in which we could say that the news would be buried down or won’t come back. iPhone 5, the long rumored redesigned iPhone was set to debut this year with major improvements and with a whole new look. When the rumors started to make a great hype for the new iPhone 5, Unluckily we got the same old designed iPhone 4 with some minor improvements and with a new word S added into it.

Before we could see iPhone 4S live, you must have gone through the rumor of the iPhone 5 Prototype which was leaked in San Francisco in a Bar. This was the second time Apple had lost its iPhone Prototype in the same place but in different country. Later on the investigation was started by the SFPD and still no results have appeared. Due to the lost prototype of iPhone 5, Apple delayed its iPhone 5 for next year.

Now Nicholas Carlson of business insider reports that they got a word from some sources which claims that they have gotten their hands on iPhone 5 Prototype. They have shared some information regarding the upcoming iPhone 5.

We’ve been told this by an industry source who has been right about future Apple products in the past.

We have not been able to verify what he told us with a second source. So we’re still treating these details as rumors. You should probably still read this post with a nice fat dose of salt.

The source also stated that Apple planned to launch iPhone 5 this year but they have to scrap of their plan for the iPhone 5 months before they planned to launch iPhone 4S. The source shared some features of iPhone 5 which are as follows:

-4-inch screen
– Aluminum back
– Capacitive home button
– “Flatter” form factor
– Much faster than current hardware, but poor battery life
– 10-megapixel rear camera
– Siri prototype known as “Assistant”, which had been the rumored name for the feature until its introduction

All of these speculations are to be taken as a rumor. The news cited by Business Insider is not 100% accurate and they them self warns about this report that take it as a grain of salt.

Rumors will go on and go on. There is no end to them. But we will be seeing iPhone 5 next year for sure.
