After the earlier confirmation of Apple’s media event in October regarding the announcement of next generation iPhone, now it is reported by the The Next Web that an Apple Director Al Gore has pushed a first ever public statement regarding the Apple’s next generation iPhone and indirectly also confirms that Apple to launch more than one model of iPhone in October.
We’ve been informed by Toby Shapshak, the editor of Stuff Magazine in South Africa that is attending the conference, that his quote was specifically: “Not to mention the new iPhones coming out next month. That was a plug.”
Shapshak says that the statement was definitely plural, although it wasn’t clear whether that meant two different models, as the statement was not clarified in any way by Gore.
Gore has uses the plural “iPhones” in his statement and confirms the long rumored of low cost iPhone, which was pushed up by the eagle eye folks sources. Apple is rumored to launch the two model of iPhones this year in the fall, means next month on October 4th. One of them will be called “iPhone 4S” an updated model of iPhone 4 with some speed performance.
While the iPhone launch details only available to high profile company employees, we are still sketchy about the details of Gore, its not clear how much Gore details are right regarding the launch of two iPhone models. Well the directors of Apple are also connected with the upcoming projects of the company so we can take his words with some weighs.
